Derbyshire and Peak District Photographs

Ashbourne Shrovetide Football 2008 took place on Tuesday 5th February and Wednesday 6th Feb with tuesday's ball being turned up by David Wheatcroft , Chief Executive of Derbyshire Dales District Council and wednesday's ball by Dave Mellor, a local businessman and champion stock-car racer.

Tuesday's ball was scored by the Up'Ards, just before 8pm. Wednesday's ball was also scored by the Up'ards just before 10pm.
